Our record of success includes representing a principal in each of the top five all-cash M&A transactions of all time; acting in five of the largest announced LBOs worldwide since 2006; and advising on the largest and most innovative cross-border and non-U.S. domestic M&A.

In the first half of 2008, S&C represented a principal in the top two deals, and in five of the ten largest deals, announced worldwide. The Firm also achieved strong results for both European and Asian M&A in the first half of 2008, leading the global league table rankings compiled by Dealogic, Bloomberg, Thomson Reuters and mergermarket.  

In 2007—for the fourth consecutive year—S&C ranked first by value among law firms representing principals in announced transactions worldwide (Bloomberg).
